Mr. Sean brings over a decade of teaching experience to St Andrews International School, Sathorn, including six years in England and now entering his fifth year at Sathorn. He has taught in Year 6 for ten years and is passionate about preparing children for the transition to secondary school – both academically and personally.
As Assistant Headteacher, Mr. Sean leads on assessment across the school, helping to ensure that every child’s progress is carefully monitored and supported. He is committed to using assessment not just as a tool for measuring outcomes, but as a way to enhance learning and meet individual needs.
Before moving to Thailand, Mr. Sean was a member of the Senior Leadership Team in the UK, where he led on Maths, Computing, and the school’s online learning platform. He also served as a school governor, with responsibilities for health and safety and finance. During this time, he worked with the Central Maths Hub team to help embed Mastery approaches in Maths across schools.
Mr. Sean holds a PGCE from the University of Warwick. He has completed the Cognita Leadership Programme and is currently undertaking the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH), further developing his expertise in school leadership.
At the heart of Mr. Sean’s approach is a belief in high-quality teaching and learning, and a strong commitment to ensuring every child is supported to reach their full potential. He values building strong relationships with pupils and parents and enjoys being part of a warm, inclusive school community.
