Bangkok has quickly become the most visited city in the world. It’s an eclectic mix of, temples, tuk tuks, and floating markets. Food is centric to life in this bustling city with options varying from street food to Michelin starred restaurants.

Shopping is an important pastime with luxury designer malls lining the streets, up and coming designers adorning local boutiques, and markets galore to satisfy the need for bartering.

Whatever your budget there is an accommodation option for you. Most expats stay centrally in condos or some prefer to venture further afield to gated communities. Either one with have plenty of facilities and be very secure.

Transportation is easy and reasonable. The BTS gets you from one location to the other, taxis navigate the back roads avoiding the likely traffic jams and motorbikes can take you a few metres down the road if you’re feeling a little weary.

There is always something to do, especially with the kids. From Kidzania to Fantasia Lagoon and Siam Park City, your little ones will be completely entertained.

Moving to this energetic city may seem a little daunting at first, but with parks close to most condominiums you’ll soon find a neighbourhood that’s a quiet oasis just for you.
