The Arts play a major part in school life at St. Andrews International School, Sathorn. We believe that studying Music, Drama, Visual Arts and Dance helps students become aware of additional methods of communication and develop a lifelong engagement with and appreciation for the arts.
Music, Drama and Visual Arts are the three main specialist curricular areas, with all students being exposed to each throughout their time at school from Nursery as part of their studies. Experienced specialist teachers work with the students in dedicated music and performing arts rooms using the latest equipment and innovative techniques one to two times a week depending on level.
Our many musical ensembles, choirs and drama productions provide opportunities for students who find a passion for the arts, from our Christmas choir who perform across Bangkok at hospitals, hotels and the British Club, to our drama production which is held each term in the main performing hall.
Our growing music department has a Rock Band, Glee Club and Dance Group. We also offer private piano lessons throughout the school day for an additional fee. We want to share musical experiences that reflect a platform of musical ideas.
